Who we are

SolarSuperState.org websites (collectively “SolarSuperState.org” in this document) refer to sites hosted on the SolarSuperState.org and other related domains and subdomains thereof.

SolarSuperState.org collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. SolarSuperState.org’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how SolarSuperState.org’s visitors use its website. From time to time, SolarSuperState.org may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

SolarSuperState.org also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. SolarSuperState.org does not use IP addresses to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
